I am from Redding, California. That is where I spent the majority of my life and where I had my previous martial arts schools. Growing up my home was difficult and turbulent until I moved out at 17 years old. I spent the last 17 years looking for another place to call home traveled all 50 states and spend a great deal of time and many of them I really enjoyed Billings Montana and Albuquerque New Mexico. When I came to Green Bay I found the people there for easy to talk to General Lee Pleasant and honest most of them.
The weather here is grand. There are rarely 100 degree days and I can deal with that. Coming from Redding, the normal summer temperatures were well over 100 degrees up to 30 days in a row. Sometimes when it gets really cold in the snow is piling up in the parking lot to me it's a calming since. Also since I came to Green Bay I become a huge Green Bay Packer fan being able to drive by the stadium is a great sense of I'm not sure what word I should use here but it is a great sense of something I enjoyed every bit of it every time I see that Stadium. I don't have to be at the game or in the game just see it, driving by it, its history and it makes me feel very proud to be a Green Bay Wisconsinite.
I can make anywhere my home. I lived out of a suitcase for many years. I'm okay with it because I live in the moment. I feel home is where I can enjoy what I'm doing, while I'm doing. I can enjoy the simple things like taking a shovel and digging a hole, maybe to dig up worms to go fishing, maybe to clear out a root to make it easier to mow the lawn. It's about making my home, my own, for me. Really home is being okay. I've lived in some tough places and I've lived in some great places. I'm looking for a place for me to spread my wings and fly, and to me that is Green Bay.
