Mini Warrior Parents
Our Mini Warriors program is designed not only to support the growth of our young students, but also to keep parents informed and confident in their child’s development. A Mini Warriors check-in is a brief, scheduled conversation between parents and instructors that provides insight into your child’s progress in class.
During this check-in, instructors will share observations on your child’s participation, listening skills, confidence, coordination, and overall engagement in class. We’ll discuss strengths we’re seeing, skills your child is developing, and any goals we’re working toward—always in a positive, age-appropriate way that supports each child’s individual pace.
Parents are also encouraged to ask questions, share feedback, or discuss anything that may help us better support their child, both on and off the mat. These check-ins are not evaluations or tests, but rather a collaborative opportunity to ensure your Mini Warrior feels successful, supported, and excited to continue learning.
Our goal is to partner with you in building confidence, focus, respect, and resilience in your child—skills that extend far beyond the dojo.
youth Warrior Parents
Youth Warriors are also offered regular instructor check-ins. These check-ins are designed to support both students and parents as children grow in skill, maturity, and confidence.
For Youth Warriors, this conversation becomes an important opportunity to begin taking ownership of their personal growth. Instructors will share feedback on technical progress, focus, confidence, leadership, and mindset, while also encouraging the student to reflect on their own goals and interests within the program.
Unlike the Mini Warriors check-ins, Youth Warrior check-ins intentionally involve the student more directly. This helps them begin learning how to set goals, make thoughtful decisions about their training path, and understand how effort and consistency contribute to growth—both on and off the mat.
Parents are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and support their child as they begin to take a more active role in shaping their journey. These check-ins are not evaluations, but collaborative conversations meant to empower Youth Warriors to grow with confidence, responsibility, and purpose.
Our goal is to guide each student toward the next stage of their development while fostering independence, accountability, and a strong sense of self.
Adult Warrior
Adult Warriors are offered instructor check-ins as a dedicated opportunity to reflect, refine, and intentionally shape their personal training journey. These check-ins are collaborative conversations designed to support each student’s individual goals—whether those goals focus on self-defense, fitness, confidence, stress management, or long-term personal growth.
During the check-in, instructors will provide thoughtful feedback on progress, technique, mindset, and consistency, while also inviting the student to reflect on their experiences and aspirations. This dialogue allows Adult Warriors to assess where they are, clarify where they want to go, and determine how their training can best support their lifestyle and priorities.
Unlike youth-focused check-ins, Adult Warrior check-ins are driven by personal ownership and choice. Students are encouraged to take an active role in decision-making around their training path, pace, and areas of focus, with instructors serving as guides and resources rather than evaluators.
These check-ins are not assessments, but intentional moments for alignment—ensuring training remains meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with the student’s goals both on and off the mat.
Our goal is to empower Adult Warriors to train with clarity, confidence, and purpose, supporting continued growth at every stage of their journey.
